I never wrote an "about me" section before (and it's the last thing I read on other websites) but I know just how much people judge you from your website. So I have to be careful. Yeah right. Not many of you know that my real name is not Junona at all. That started as a screen name and I liked it more than ____ , my real one. But now I feel you should know.
You should also know that I'm about to finish my education for good and graduate from Academy of Arts, and that I'm completely mad. I never went through puberty and that's whats happening to me now. That's where my Ramones hair do's from.
I've kept only a few people in my life, the ones worth keeping. The concept of having thousands of friends does nasty things to my health and I have very high friend standards. Thats why I have only a few, but they're the nicest bunch of people you could ever find.
I adore people, but I don't have time to interact with them without getting too involved in one way or another. I think they know that.
I'm perfectly happy with my boy of almost 3 years, Kai. My life is just how it is supposed to be because of him. Besides being a total super dooper model boyfriend, he's my best friend. And he has a striking resemblance to the late Roman Emperor Traian. And not many of you know that one afternoon 3 years ago I fell in love with Traians picture in my art book and when I went out an hour later, I met Kai. Kismet.
Since I moved into my own place we gave up on party's, gigs and bar hopping and became real couch surfers. With a tv remote in one hand, and a cookbook in other, life is nice and calm. It's pretty world of late nights and late mornings. I usually stay up until I can't even think anymore.
On a regular day you'll find me in my apartment with my head phones, refusing to do anything but eat, light candles and take long showers. And watch old hollywood musicals.
I've been online since 1995, and have been making various websites since 1996. Part of a multimedia group Junkai, but I'm sure you all know about that already.
I collect old Jane Powell records and stills. Somewhere along the line I developed an obsessesion towards japanese music and lifestyle, Liv Tyler, and anything by PUMA or CONVERSE.
I always hated those articles about 20 somethings in Cosmo or somewhere but I became all that and more and I'm loving it.
Random things: photography ,I collect vynil, I love moonwatching (i own a pretty nifty telescope), britpop fashion, don't know what I would do without my lomo and action sampler, palying games on my old Atari especially Maupiti Island, I have a nameless grey persian cat, I play piano, typical cancer/scorpio, hedonism - now that's a word, butterflies scare the shit out of me, Grease, David Holzman's Diary, Stealing Beauty, Clockwork orange, Pop art, fashion addict, I always found the 80's irreplacable - before all this revival crap, cigarettes, making people uncomfortable, japanese pop,waiting for people to tell me:"do you ever leave your apartment" ....and I eat food, wear clothes and talk on the phone. Bla bla bla.
I am also making my first feature film sometime soon and thats my main preoccupation.
