picture of me

Meg(gy) Wang was born during a 1983 Michigan summer. She is a Yale alum and graduated with distinction from Stanford University in 2006, where she currently works full-time as a researcher. She has also worked at the Dynamics Lab under Dr. Jennifer Freyd at the University of Oregon, where she wrote a literature review (later incorporated into a paper in press at the Journal of Psychological Trauma) about gender and disclosure of childhood sexual abuse.

In 2006 Meg received the Louis Sudler Award for Excellence in Creative Writing. She has studied writing and the visual arts for a number of years, in various places, including the California Institute of the Arts, Yale, Stanford and the California College of the Arts.

Some things she enjoys are movies, farmer's markets, cooking, books of all sorts, sunshine, mid-90's riot grrrl zine nostalgia, intimate gatherings, good friends, vintage clothing, and wearing skirts year-round.

She is currently revising her first novel and applying to graduate schools for Fall 2008.
